Within the area of tourism of the Council of O Pino, working to ensure the sustainability of this sector in our municipality, which revolves around a main axis, the Camino de Santiago.The objective is to enhance the qualitative value of the territory and to ensure the conservation of their cultural and natural resources. Towards this end we direct our efforts from the local corporation, putting in place actions that will promote the comprehensive development of the territory of O Pino.

We are working towards the development and consolidation of the primary products of the territory, such as rural tourism and the Camino de Santiago, and towards the identification and generation of new products tourist and complementary to these, thus forming a comprehensive leisure offer.

The work that is being developed from this area enables you to determine the tourism potential of O Pino, with a view to the enhancement of its heritage resources to achieve the aim of recovery of culture and heritage. The development of tourist commodity, the generation of a complementary offer coherent and innovative as well as the conversion of tourism in a sustainable and economic sector, with special attention to the environmental factor, are the basic premises that preside over the proposal in the dynamization of O Pino.

Within the actions of heritage conservation, the municipality of O Pino, carried out a complete cataloging of the municipal heritage resources, which are collected in a web page, in which users can get photographs and information about all cultural, ethnographic and natural assets of the municipality informatively.
